Last testing session, last drives, the last chance to enjoy a ride. At least for this year. The traditional autumn testing was our way to say goodbye both to the past season and our four-year presence at the circuits within the European Truckracing Championship. As a result, the invitation was accepted by a number of guests and pilots.
„The Most circuit is a traditional meeting spot for us following the season‘s end and this year couldn’t be different, though it’s more about saying goodbye than conducting tests that used to be essential to us for collecting data,“ commented our team’s executive Klára Kress.
Apart from the almost complete MKR Technology team there were a few invited guests visiting Most. Naturally, our own Adam Lacko was present, lending his truck to Sascha Lenz, José Teodosio or José Rodrigues. There was also the Brit Chris Levett returning behind a truck’s steering wheel after a two year’s break. The former Vršecký colleague from the Roudnice-based Buggyra team had nothing but praise for our team’s truck, surprising many with the times he performed. „The track was wet and slippery, so the conditions were not ideal but it was a pleasant ride anyway. I had been missing trucks and I’d love to get back. Considering my stature it just feels better than a passenger car,“ smiled the husky Brit, who also revealed he’d participate in the British Championship next year and start in about a half of the European Championship’s events, too.
Since our team will be missing from the starting grid next year, many pilots were interested in acquiring the trucks for their own racing purposes. Eventually, our trucks might compete in the Championship, albeit in other teams‘ colours.
